We’re turning another year older – and what’s a birthday without spoils? This October, we’re flipping the script and putting you at the centre of the celebration.
Welcome to The Big Birthday Reveal, where we’re dropping surprises bigger than your aunt’s Sunday kos lunch portions. Over the next two weeks, we’ll have the Big Birthday Reveal spoils that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear. Follow our social media accounts (Facebook or Instagram) and engage with the birthday posts to stand a chance to win. And keep your eyes glued to your inbox to see if you’re a winner.
Terms & Conditions Below:
1. Type
- This is a competition of chance. Winners are selected at random using an automated randomisation method, overseen by our Legal team.
2. Campaign Period
- Teaser: 10 October 2025 (entries are not valid on this date).
- Full campaign: 13 October 2025 to 27 October 2025.
- Week 1: 13–20 October 2025.
- Week 2: 21–27 October 2025.
3. Eligibility
- Open to SA residents aged 18+.
- One entry per person per week.
- Open to all active Webafrica connectivity customers in good standing during the campaign period.
- Open to all our social media followers, including non-Webafrica customers.
- Employees of Webafrica, their immediate families, and affiliated agencies are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
Week 1 (13–20 Oct):
- Like the Birthday launch post.
- Leave a birthday message.
- Tell us what you love doing on the internet.
Week 2 (21–27 Oct):
- Comment on the Week 2 Birthday post, telling us what free internet would mean to you.
4. Prizes
- Week 1 (13–20 Oct): Ten (10) × R3,000 Shoprite/Checkers vouchers
- Week 2 (20–27 Oct): Seven (7) winners will each receive free Internet credit to the value of R3,000
5. Prize Allocation by Customer Type
- Existing Fibre or LTE customers: Account credited up to R3,000
- New sign-ups / non-customers who sign up: Account credited up to R3,000 once service is active
- Vuma Reach Voucher / Pre-paid customers: Internet vouchers up to R3,000 (stacked 5–6 at a time; additional vouchers issued as previous ones expire, as per Vumatel’s process).
- Vuma Reach Monthly (PayFast billed): R3,000 Shoprite/Checkers voucher (Internet credits not applicable).
- Alternative handling: Where account crediting is not possible, Webafrica may issue an equivalent voucher or refund to ensure delivery of the prize.
6. Winner Notification
- Random draw weekly (per Type), overseen by Legal.
- Winners will be notified privately via Direct Messaging and publicly announced on Webafrica’s official social media platforms (name and surname only).
- Valid proof of South African identity will be required (and a video check if needed).
- Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of notification, failing which the prize will be forfeited.
- Webafrica reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any winner and select an alternative if necessary.
- Fulfilment window (within 30 business days).
7. General
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
- Webafrica may substitute a prize of equal value if required.
- Webafrica reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the campaign at any time.
- Webafrica is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the campaign or the use of any prize.
8. Privacy
- Winners’ first names and surnames may be announced publicly.
- Personal details will only be used to administer this campaign.
