As you might be aware: Web Africa is giving away 50TB of Download Plus to all *Capped packages for the month of August. And mind you, there is a spanking new MacBook Air at stake for the winner (Refer to our competition page for further details).

For those who are lagging behind, don’t throw in the towel yet. Here is a kick start; become a force to be reckoned with by utilising the following bandwidth bandits intermittently: Netflix, BitTorrent, and Facetime etc:

It looks like you forgot this part, so I’ll add it for you.

Fortunately, many Linux distros are available as torrent downloads, so, assuming you have a really fast line, you could simply stack up a pile of these, pull them down, delete them, and repeat. Or you could pull the ISOs off of a local ftp server.

You don’t say this explicitly on this post but officially Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video are not available in South Africa.

I am aware that they can be made to work but my understanding is that its breaking copyright law along with probably some other laws when you circumvent the checks put in place to prevent you using the services in South Africa.
