Yesterday we experienced one the most awful outages and would like to bring some light to the matter. Our IPC service was reduced to around 5% of its normal capacity – this IPC service is a Telkom service that connects ADSL users to Web Africa’s Network.
The problem was related to the Metro infrastructure Telkom use as backhaul between their own POP’s. Unfortunately this took a significant amount of time for them to isolate and resolve. Our CEO, Matthew Tagg offered his most sincerest apologies to all our customers in the following email.
